I'm 15 and am looking into buying a video camera. I don't have a lot to spend on it but i was wondering what would be a good brand and type of camera to get. I'm planning on using it to film me and my friends skating. I've never had a video camera before. Any suggestions?

I use a 120 dollar flip camera it shoots 1080p HD youtube video. its probably the cheapest hd camera. My friend has a 300 dollar one he uses and its awesome.
